The app is designed for calculating the number of turns when winding an inductor (inductance coil). It is advised to attach a magnet to the rotating part. The app utilizes the built-in smartphone magnetic field sensor to determine the number of rotations of the magnet and, consequently, the number of coil turns. Further, it offers an alternative method to calculate rotation without relying on a magnet, suitable for winding larger coils.

Prior to conducting any measurements, it is crucial to calibrate the magnetometer. To do so, position the smartphone at the intended measurement spot, ensure no magnet is close by, and press the top "0" button.

To reset the turn count, press the down "0" button twice. The app provides various features such as:

• Selection of the magnetometer axis.
• Sensitivity adjustment (threshold level).
• Alert for reaching the desired turn count.
• Notification for each set number of added turns; for instance, a beep after every 15 turns. Users can customize this by clicking on the bell button and entering "+15!!" (without spaces), where the number of exclamation marks indicates the sound signal intensity (ranging from 0 to 5).
• Countdown feature by entering a negative number.
• Option to attach a photo displaying the measurement outcome.

The app enforces a maximum rotation speed of 1000 RPM (16 Hz) due to safety concerns. Users are advised against using high rotational speeds to prevent detachment of the magnet, which may lead to damage or breakage of the smartphone.

Furthermore, users are cautioned against using excessively large magnets due to their inconvenience and potential hazards. Large magnets can cause damage or pose injury risks.
